How To Tell The Difference Between A Fake And Real Handbag

Like any other item of clothing that you want to buy, handbags also have lots of fakes in the market. Without the right information, you can end up spending a lot of money buying the handbag of your dreams, only to find out at the end of the day that it's fake.

To prevent this from happening, take note of the following guidelines on how to tell the difference between a fake and a real handbag. As you know, it is safer and much more convenient for you to know... before placing your order. You don't want to go through the stress of having to return the handbag when you discover that it is safe. In other words, prevention is better than cure.

- The most obvious differences between fake and real handbags is the misspelled logos you find on the fake handbags. Fakes don't take the time to carefully make the handbags. If you look carefully you can spot some of the misspellings. Sometimes however, these misspellings can be intentional. They want to imitate a particular handbag brand but intentionally misspell the name so as not to enter into any legal trouble with the real company.

- Watch out for handbags with cheap leather. This is one sure sign of a fake. I know it is very difficult at certain times to identify if the leather is cheap or not, but if you take your time to look carefully, you will notice it. That is why you should never be in a hurry when shopping for the handbag of your choice. Take your time and look carefully before parting with your hard-earned money.

- To get real handbags and not fakes, always shop for your handbags from authorized and registered dealers- whether online or offline. Some of the places to find fake handbags are at home parties, flea markets, New York's Chinatown, mall kiosks, to mention a few.

- Price is one of the most important determinants for identifying a fake handbag from a real one. The price of a fake handbag is usually cheap- to push you to buy. Don't expect to buy a $500 handbag for $100. It just is too good to be true and is certainly a fake.

Doing the above can help you identify a fake handbag from a real one... and save you from falling prey to the many fake handbag dealers out there.

Adding COLOR to Your Wardobe

I often hear from students that they would like to wear more color, but don't really know how to add it to their wardrobe.

Color can be scary. I admit I was once a person who wore too much black. I didn't really know I was doing it, but one day I realized I suffered from an affliction. I became envious of other women who wore color with confidence, and who always seems to know what matched.

I figured it was just a gene I was not born with, like the tall-skinny-model-looks gene. However, I chose not to limit myself, and I did what I do best, I began to research.

What I discovered amazed me. Mixing color is not inborn. Not at all. It is simply a result of personal preferences and practice mixed with a healthy dose of awareness. What I mean by that is that if you throw on just anything and leave the house without studying its effect in flattery or otherwise, how will you teach yourself about what really works?

Oh sure, you glance in the mirror, but do you really LOOK? That is what it takes to become completely comfortable with color. However, to get started with color in general, or just a particular color you would like to wear, there are some easy options to help adjust yourself to wearing hues with which you are not yet comfortable.

1. Wear a single color under a suit of another color to bring attention up to your face.
This technique is relatively painless, and allows you to determine just how much color you are going to show. With your suit jacket completely buttoned up, you will see only a peek of color at the neckline.

With your jacket unbuttoned, you will see a larger column of color, but still the primary focus will be on your suit color.
Take the jacket off, and you will have full attention on the color of your top.

As you go through the day, or through the weeks getting used to color, you may try pushing yourself to go just a step further to see if you can get used to showing color with more confidence.

2. Buy a few colorful accessories to brighten up a neutral outfit.
A few brightly colored accessories can make a plain dress pop with energy and excitement.

Accessories you might want to consider include: shoes, hats, sunglasses, belts, gloves, scarves, jewelry, watches or watchbands, or hose/tights/socks.

3. Wear a single color from head to toe.
By wearing the color without contrast, you will create a unified look. This also tends to slenderize your appearance, by not distracting the eye from the parts of you that are showing, such as your face.

4. Wear different shades of the same color.
This is a more complicated combination. By wearing different shades of the same color, you will give an overall effect of harmony. You'll also have the option of using lighter (paler) shades of the color to accent certain areas of your body that you would like to draw attention to.

The key with this technique is that the shades themselves be similar in tone. It is much trickier to successfully match blue greens with yellow greens than to match different tints and shades of yellow green together.

The benefit of this option is that it is easier to find colors that are similar in different shops at different times, than it is to find exact matches.

Dressing Right for Outdoor Sports

Looking good should not always be the only reason for choosing the right clothes. You should always consider comfort and protection as equally important reasons. Having comfortable clothes would help you enjoy whatever activity you are engaged in by allowing you to move well. On the other hand, clothes should protect you from the harsh elements such as extreme heat cold and wind.

For outdoor activities, there are particular clothes that are appropriate to wear. To help you choose the right clothes here are some tips based on a particular outdoor event.

Polo Events

Since this activity would usually be held on open grounds, you would be exposed to warm and sunny conditions. The best way to protect yourself from the sun and wind is to wear a lightweight jacket that would have big collars you can use to protect your nape and neck from burning under the sun. The perfect complement for a lightweight jacket is a polo shirt. These shirts are designed to allow movement and proper air ventilation. If it is too hot for a jacket, these polo shirts would be more than enough for protection. You could always find polo shirts and jackets that have sporty design and vibrant colors. For polo fans, you can always choose a polo shirt that features the colors of your favorite team.

Shooting Events

Choosing the right clothes for a shooting event would be a little bit tricky especially if you are looking for something that is comfortable as well as stylish. Because of the nature of the activity, it would be smart to wear a Ptarmigan or a medium-weight jacket. These jackets would protect you from injuries like scratches and bruises. Aside from this, these jackets would contain functional pockets where you can place personal items without affecting comfort. For pants, you should choose a durable yet comfortable material like tweed or corduroy.

Fishing

The most important factor to consider when looking for appropriate clothes for fishing is the protection it can provide you. To protect you from the water, you should wear a bank vest, neck wrap and bug cap. You can protect your hands and head by wearing brimmed hats, wrist warmers and fingerless gloves. Make sure that you choose a bank vest with material that is quick drying, lightweight and waterproof. Your gloves should be made primarily of wool to provide you sufficient warmth. On the other hand, your hat should be able to protect you from the heat of the sun and should be durable enough to withstand regular wear and tear.

You can find all these clothes in different styles and colors. Creating a perfect blend of fashion and function can only be achieved with clothes made by manufacturers who have been in the industry for a long time. When buying outdoor clothing, money should be the least consideration since you would actually save more in the long term if you buy clothes that may be of higher quality.

Roxtons outdoor clothing provides you protection against the elements at your favourite outdoor sporting events. Clothing of style and quality emphasises your attraction to the great outdoors.

Joe Rocket Motorcycle Jacket Review

Joe Rocket motorcycle jackets are some of the most popular in the industry. But are they worth the money? This article will give you a detailed look at Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket features in terms of the criteria you should be using to decide which jacket you'll purchase.

Styling

Okay, this is a pretty vain criteria, but let's be honest. This is usually what attracts a buyer to a particular motorcycle jacket. If you don't like the way it looks, you probably aren't going to buy it no matter how good it is, right?

Few would argue that the styling of a Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket is second to none. From the classic black motorcycle jacket to the race team look, Joe Rocket has got you covered. There is a jacket for you no matter what your taste.

Protection

A nice looking jacket is all fine and good, but above all else, you are buying a motorcycle jacket to protect you, right? You want to know that your injuries will be minimized in the event of a fall.

A Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket will protect you as well or better than any other jacket on the market. Most models include reinforced elbow/forearm and shoulder sections. This high level of protection, however, comes at a price...a high price tag and compromised comfort.

Price

These are some of the most expensive jackets on the market. A Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket will set you back between $100 and $500. You can usually find good deals on Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket online.

Comfort

Joe Rocket motorcycle jackets are typically a little bit stiffer than other jackets to maintain the high level of protection. Most riders find this a little bit uncomfortable. With time, they loosen up a bit and become more comfortable, but still remain somewhat stiff. This is the main complaint about Joe Rocket motorcycle jackets.

Being somewhat thick, you can also get a bit warm inside these jackets. Fortunately, most models come equipped with a removable liner and air vents than channel outside air. Even with this feature, the jackets can get somewhat hot.

Conclusion

A Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket is a sizable investment, no doubt about it. For your money, you get top quality protection and styling and decent comfort. You can find cheaper jackets, but be prepared to sacrifice some of that styling and protection. Understand where your priorities are and you'll know if a Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket is right for you.

Ballet Dance Wear

Most can agree that ballet is a beautiful variety of dance, but it is also a delicate art form. The performers are often times telling a story with their movement, and the costumes, or clothing they wear play an integral part in the unfolding of the story. During practice, the ballet dance wear is usually less delicate and more practical, however, during recitals, and performances, dancers can go on stage in anything from an all black body suit, to very complicated skirts, tops, and leggings! The type of dance known as En Pointe, is unique to ballet and has very specific shoes that resemble classic ballet slippers until you see the toe. There it is flattened and very sturdy so that a dancer can stand literally on their tip toes. Dance wear has certainly come a long way and there are several varieties offered to fit any needs.

Rehearsal or practice for ballet doesn't usually require full on costuming unless it is a dress rehearsal. Common attire for dancers in class is for girls; a leotard, tights, and your slippers. For guys it can be the same with the addition of shorts as well. Leotards are a one piece body suit that can resemble a bathing suit with or without sleeves. Students attending standard or beginner ballet class will also wear their ballet slippers to dance in. However, En Pointe classes require a dancer to own and wear point shoes. It takes a lot of practice and breaking in to get used to point shoes. Performers often will go through a period of time where their toes are extremely blistered and sore from learning to dance on point.

When it comes to recitals and performances the possibilities are endless and it truly depends on the story being told. It's common to see a flowing or exaggerated skirt on women because it helps to signify their feminine qualities, and can often give the illusion of flying. Costuming is important because ballet is a very movement oriented dance, and the clothing has to be conducive to running, jumping, and it just needs to be flexible.

The vast array of ballet dance wear is available all over the world and on the internet. Whether it's for a performance, practice, or class, there is no doubt when it comes to the shoes that they need to be of quality. Ballet shoes are one of the single most important elements to one's wardrobe. If the shoes are poor quality, then there is a good chance for the dancer to injure themselves or someone else.

Tennis Clothes Should Be Comfortable

You have been playing tennis on and off over the years and have finally decided to get more serious about the game. You figure you can kill two birds with one stone by getting your exercise while doing something you like. Now, you set off to get yourself ready to play.

As always, you want to look your best, after all, you have always been a great dresser. The decision now is 'what should I wear when playing tennis?' Do I need special outfits similar to what pros like the Williams sisters wear or can I just wear casual clothing? Bottom line is that the decision is yours to make.

You can purchase a complete outfit made by any major manufacturer of sporting goods. These include Nike, Adidas, Prince, Wilson, Head, Babolat, Balle de Match, and there still many more out there selling good products.

If you do not want to invest in the special clothes, think comfortable. Your outfit should be loose and flowing as you will be running back and forth, jumping up and down and twisting in every direction as you try to hit the ball. Maybe you will want to just wear the clothes you already have in your closet or to purchase ones-either works as long as you can move freely around the court. If you join a group or a club and play as a team together, you may need to purchase a team uniform.

Your group will select an outfit that may include a top, shorts, socks and jacket or a special short dress with socks and a jacket-monograms are also available and you can even add the team’s name to the back of the outfit.

If you have joined a tennis club, you may want to stop by periodically to see what other people are wearing. I am not saying that you should try to 'keep up with the Jones' here, but there may be an 'unspoken' dress code for players. You should be able to figure that out without embarrassing yourself by showing up inappropriately dressed.

Take time to go out and shop around for your outfit. If you do not have a lot of spare time or you hate to think about spending time at the mall on your day off, look on the internet. Just type in 'tennis clothing' and you will be amazed at the number of different web sites that will be listed.

Go through a few of these sites to get an idea of what you want-this is probably the quickest and easiest way to see literally hundreds of different options in just a few minutes. You can even order your outfit without every leaving your home-it can even be delivered directly to your door for you to wear.

Find the outfit you like and that you are comfortable in. Play tennis with your friends, make new acquaintances, schmooze with potential clients, and just enjoy yourself. You are out with people and getting exercise and you look and feel great.

Running Shoe Guide - How Do I Choose The Right Shoes?

Running is a great way to keep fit and can be a lot of fun, too. It is very important to make sure you have the correct equipment before you start and one of the most important investments is a good pair of running shoes. They can improve your running gait and prevent injuries. There are thousands of different running shoes to choose from and most of the big sports manufacturers invest money into the science and technology of running shoes.

Running Shoe Components

A running shoe comprises an outsole, a midsole, an upper, a heel counter and a post or footbridge. Apart from that, running shoes vary enormously in design and color. A running shoe has to be flexible and durable, control motion and absorb shock. It is best to buy your shoes from a specialist running shop, or at least a sports shop, so you can get good advice from the sales staff. Try on shoes in the afternoon, when your feet are slightly larger.

Each person has slightly different feet, so a great shoe for someone else might not necessarily be the best one for you. The shape of your feet, your weight, any foot problems, your running style and running surfaces (tarmac, sand, treadmill etc) and various other factors can affect which running shoe is going to suit you and your lifestyle the best.

Types of Running Shoes

You can divide your feet into one of three basic types – normal, flat or high arched. Have a look at your wet footprint on the bathmat when you get out of the bath. If you see a full imprint, this means you are flat footed. If there is an arch cutaway, your foot is normal. If there is a very narrow band or no band between the front and back of the foot, you have high arches. Foot type affects which sort of running shoes will be better for you. The normal foot tends to be the most biomechanically efficient and you will need shoes with moderate motion control. If you have high arches, avoid stability or motion control shoes, as these will limit foot mobility. If your feet are flat, high stability or motion control shoes with firm midsoles will reduce the amount your foot naturally rolls in and be more comfortable and better for you. Avoid highly curved or cushioned shoes if your feet are flat, as they will restrict stability.

When trying on running shoes, make sure they feel good as soon as you put them on. The average pair of running shoes should be able to run 1000 km so comfort is a must!

Why Are Weight Lifting Shoes Important For You To Have?

Weight lifting shoes are just as important for your routine as the clothes are. You will not be comfortable while you are working out if you do not have the correct weight lifting shoes. You need to find the right pair that will work perfect for your weight lifting.

First, you need to find a pair that is not too big. When they are too big you will have them falling off your feet and tripping you during your work out.

Second, you don’t want them to be too small because then you will end up with blisters on your feet. You will also end up having very sore feet. This will make it hard for you to continue your weight lifting and make it more difficult the next time you do your weight lifting.

So you definitely want to find weight lifting shoes that will fit you just right. You may have to try on more than one pair but you will be glad you did when your shoes end up supporting your feet instead of hurting them.

Third, you want to make sure that the shoes you get will not be ones that you will slip on anything. This is one way that you can get hurt in a gym when you are not working out. You don’t want this to happen. Make sure that the shoes you choose are ones that have good traction.

Now there are a couple of places that you can get the weight lifting shoes that you need. You can look in your local stores to find them. You also want to see if the local gyms have them for sale. Gyms are a good place to look because they know what the best kinds of clothes and shoes are for weight lifting.

You can also do a search online at any search engine for your shoes. There will be all kinds of results that you can choose from. One disadvantage to getting them online is that you will not be able to try them on before you buy them. You just have to buy them and hope they fit or are the right ones.

No matter where you get your weight lifting shoes you want to make sure you take all of these things into consideration before you buy any. That way you will be able to concentrate on your weight lifting and not be worrying about your clothes or shoes. It is always important to find the right outfit including shoes when you want to weight lift.

For Looks or For Life

First off let me state that the opinions stated here are my own. I have done no extensive research (other than a life time of observation), had no Hundred Thousand dollar grants, or a team of researchers providing information to me. If any of this is scientifically factual, it is just because of pure luck, and if it is scientifically false, it is still my story and I am sticking to it.

Western outerwear (coats, jackets, hats, boots etc.) have evolved from being a working mans tool to one of fashion and prestige. In the beginning a cowboy, farmer or any one else who earned his bread and butter outdoors year round needed hes that would protect him (her) from the elements. From years of experience I know that the wrong clothing could mean the difference between life and death, or the possibility of losing various parts of your body. Unlike the individual today, who wears the oilskin duster for looks, there are still a vast number of folks who still depend on these coats to bring them home at night. A sudden rain shower in the American west, Australian Outback, or any where a long way from home, with the temperature in the balmy 70’s or 80’s and a little wind. Without the protection of some form of water proof outer wear for the entire body, your loved ones may get to say goodbye at the funeral home.

As with all things that become popular, the best looking and often with the best all around protection, become more expensive. There are those that are still not as expensive but as the old saying goes “you get what you pay for”. Then again if caught out, without the right gear, a plastic garbage bag, can, and has saved lives. As have plastic tarps, scraps of canvas or any thing else to keep the elements at bay. Next thing you know some movie star will start wearing plastic garbage bags, and then these will no longer be affordable.

I have learned that in my part of the American West, that when you walk out the door in the morning, (all except maybe a couple of days around the first of August). You take enough clothes, (coat, hat, gloves, rain gear, etc) to protect your self from Mother Nature. That knowledge has been drilled into me by not having the necessary items, and paying the price. So for all of you out there getting ready to venture out into the great outdoors, THINK AHEAD, STAY SAFE, AND WAKE UP SMILING.

How to Get the Best Wetsuit

A number of people think that any wetsuit is good for just about anything. This is farther from the truth. Wetsuits come in so many variations that the buyer needs to be mindful of the types available.

Before we delve into the types of wetsuits, we need to understand the purpose of this garment. Wetsuits are protective clothing for individuals in water environments. The purpose of the suit is to keep the body warm. In fact, it purposely traps water into the suit so that it acts like a protective layer from coldwater exposure. The suits are made of a fabric called neoprene, a synthetic rubber created by DuPont. The fabric essentially allows warmth to be trapped because of the nitrogen gas in the synthetic rubber. Because of the low thermal conductivity, heat has less chance to leave the body. However, human skin in contact with water causes heat to lose rapidly from the body.

So what should we look for in wetsuits? It all depends on what you plan to do. The sport could be water skiing, diving, snorkeling, surfing, or swimming. There are wetsuits that are made specifically for these types of activities.

Otherwise, you determine the weather and conditions of the environment and make a decision based on the wetsuit thickness. Thickness is measured by millimeters (mm), so a 1mm wetsuit will literally mean that the fabric’s thickness is 1mm. For warmer waters, that don’t cause too much loss of body heat, consider 1mm to 2mm. If the water temperature is 45 to 70 degrees, consider a thickness of 3mm to 4mm. For very cold weather below 45 degrees, one might wear a 5mm suit with a hood.

The quality of the wetsuit can be determined by the seam construction. As with any clothing, tightly woven seams are indicators of quality. Conversely, loosen seams can allow exposure to the elements, which is poor quality. The purpose of the suit is to keep all elements away from the body. A wetsuit that’s closely seemed or flushed is seal proof.

Besides neoprene, there are other fabrics. Spandex, a thin fabric that can stretch very well, can be used in tropical weather conditions. It can protect one from the effects of the sun. Thermoplastic is another fabric that’s around 1.2mm. It has a little more insulation than spandex, but it can be used very warm climates.

The important part of choosing a wetsuit is trying it on. The best suits are the one that fit snug on the body, provided that it doesn’t suffocates or limits your movement. Test the suit by flexing or moving your body parts. Once you’re in the water, the suit should be much more flexible. Learning how the suit responds to your movements will allow you to better get a feel for the product.

Wetsuits varies in size, shape, quality and flexibility. Understanding these qualities will better help you to choose the right suit. If you’re not sure which suit is right for you, consult a retailer for the advice.

Hats Off to You - They're Back!

It may seem like hats went out of style with the end of the fifties and its true for a few decades the hat lost its appeal for both gender. Occasionally you would see one at church or a wedding, but in everyday life the younger generation just didn't wear them. Well hats have been making inroads for a few years and they're starting to gain popularity again.

For years all a guy would be caught wearing was the baseball cap and knit hat on winter days. Now we see the beanie coming back in style with the new urban generations. A beanie is like a knit hat. It hugs the top of the head, reaching to just about the top of the ears and is usually folded up over itself to create a wide band. The beanie can be made of fleece or durable cotton and is available in range of muted solid colors.

Women are starting to wear similar fleece or canvas style hats that are made to look more like hats rather than hugging the head the way a beanie does. These come in a range of colors and usually have a small jaunty brim towards the front that folds down flat in the back. Women also have more choice in accessories than men. Their hats come with ribbons, beads, decorative fur edging or even a little hat pin of some time.

For you guys that want a hat with some style you can always lead the way by wearing a fedora or a panama hat. A fedora is the kind of hat that could be worn by the lead character in a 1920's detective film. A panama hat is so named because it came into popularity during the construction of the Panama Canal. It usually white or tan, woven from straw or reeds and has a wide brim with a band of fabric tied or sewn around it.

How to Buy Designer Jeans For Less

Denim is a funny thing, it can be very fashionable or just the best thing to wear for comfort. It is also no secret that the more worn in a pair of jeans is, the better they feel. It has also become very fashionable to wear jeans that have obvious holes and worn in spots. This is really nothing new; worn in jeans became fashionable in the mid 1960's with the emergence of hippies. Ever since then, worn in jeans have been as much an icon of rock and roll as leather pants are as well. The problem with many designers is that they have begun charging outrageous prices for worn in denim. There are certain costs associated with the process of breaking in denim, however there are some great ways to get the perfect pair of custom jeans for much less than you think.

A pair of designer jeans by Diesel or Seven starts at about $110 - $120, which is still a lot of money. However, if you would like these jeans to have a worn in look that will run you above $200. There are many jeans available for less, but they are not considered designer. People notice labels, especially in larger cities and at evening hot spots. You can't get into a good club wearing GAP jeans. I have some tips that have given me a great collection of denim for about half the price. The first key to finding great denim is a little leg work. Go to Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue and try on the designer denim to find the right brand that fits you. Diesel and Seven are great because they are widely sold and they are not flash in the pan brands. They also stay very true to their fit. If you wear something like a low-rise boot fit, it will always fit the same. I can easily by either brand now with out trying them on.

Next ask the sales associate if there are any annual sales coming up and if they have a call list. Good sales associates try to build a relationship with customers. They are bargain shoppers too, so are usually happy to share sale information. For example, Nordstroms has a huge sale every fall when the new line comes in. They do this for their loyal customers. It is brand new merchandise for close to half price. In general, though, you will be able to sift a sale rack any time you are at the mall and not have to try the denim on. This is very hard to do in large stores. Small store have less traffic and will discount merchandise more because they have less shelf space.

I was picking up my girlfriend a gift at a boutique and came across a $150 pair of jeans for $25. One thing I stress you never try is buying clothes off of Ebay type sites. It is all knock off merchandise. People have gotten very good at making knock offs, but you can tell. There is nothing worse than having someone notice that you are wearing fake merchandise.

Hosiery fashion trend in Europe

If you haven't noticed, fashion hosiery is more than the ultra-sheer nylons, control-top hosiery, or knee-highs from years past. Today, fashion pantyhose do more than complement an outfit - they can make the outfit. From retro multi-color stripe pattern hosiery to opaque tights with a front see-through leaf pattern, today's hosiery makes a fashion statement all on its own. The variety of patterns and colors is endless, allowing you to change the look and tone of an outfit in a snap.

You may be one of the millions of American women who has her last pair of pantyhose tucked in the back of her dresser drawer and who has dismissed hosiery as shackles of the past, it's time to think again. We should take a page out of the playbooks of our sisters in Europe and Asia, who embrace hosiery as a wardrobe essential.

And let's face it, ladies.... Socks just aren't sexy, and bare feet in pumps don't cut it in the boardroom. If you can't remember the last time you felt sensual and sexy, it's time to invest in some great hosiery. Not only are there countless colors and patterns from which to choose, but there is also an abundance of styles available. If pantyhose simply don't cut it in your book, try traditional stockings. Even if no one else ever sees them, your garters will make you feel and act differently. Thigh-highs are another option for those who don't like the restrictive feel of pantyhose, while toeless hosiery works for those who want to dress up sandals or open-toed slingbacks. And, low-waist pantyhose go perfectly with low-waist slacks or jeans.

Although we sometimes loathe admitting it, hosiery is a basic foundation garment. Control-top pantyhose can give you the sleek line you seek when wearing a closefitting skirt, dress, or pair of pants. Even plain knee-highs can give your foot and ankle a supple appearance, while colored and patterned knee-highs can add a little sizzle to your outfit.

Hosiery already represents a fashion trend in Europe. It's time to bring that trend Stateside and embrace it. Just as a designer handbag or a great pair of earrings accessorizes an outfit while making a statement about your personality, so too does designer hosiery. It can give you wardrobe options you never knew you had, and can give you a sense of fun, joy, and sexiness. When you start wearing great hosiery, you'll not only stand out from the crowd, but you may also become a trendsetter!

Baby Swimsuits

A few years back, garment companies were in a tussle to secure a foothold in the kids’ casual garments industry. Today however, there is an itsy-bitsy piece of cloth that these industries are trying to corner: swimwear for children. With more families frequenting clubs, water parks, the beach and amusement parks, the demand for kids’ swimwear is on the rise. Quite a few fashion houses, too, are concentrating on kids’ swimwear, the reason being that this market flourished in the nineties and is a money generator today.

When shopping for kids’ swimwear, there are two things that should be kept in mind – color and design. Children usually get attracted to loud, vibrant colors as opposed to dull, safe colors. Whereas girls are usually content with flowers and polka dots, the little ladies can dress up in multiple styles of two-piece bathing suits from bikini cut to tankinis; these suits come in as many different designs and styles as maillot suits do.

With boys, it is a different ballgame. The new fad for boys’ swimwear appears to be none other than cartoon-themed trunks. It is a renowned fact that children love cartoons and, following a deluge of kids’ films usually lapped up by boys, the garment companies are cashing in on the cartoon craze by manufacturing kids swimwear featuring popular cartoon characters found either in comic books or films.

Wrap up your children’s swimwear shopping in style with a vibrant beach towel or swimming robe to help them dry off more quickly and willingly.

Long Skirts

Although a certain look is always a rage because it is a season signature, the long slit skirt is a classic gem that typifies elegant, understated glamour. Usually worn by women in their late 20s and 30s, long skirts are generally preferred by confidant, sophisticated women who can boast a life well lived.

Leaf through any fall-winter fashion glossy, and there it is-long, slim and, if one's figure is hourglass personified, slit to the thigh. Forget about the flirty floor-skimming skirts of yore. These new-look long skirts, slit to midthigh and snaking sinuously to the ankles in comfortable stretch fabrics, are a real class act. The difficulty with this chic look lies in successfully putting it all together. If you want to wear long, narrow skirts, the jacket has to be just the correct proportion and you must team it with high heels, or the look simply will not work.

Full peasant skirts, on the other hand, flatter most body types but in particular, petite girls should avoid wearing it, as it can tend to make them look too small in a crowd. Ankle-length peasant skirts are usually made of cotton voile and look best when teamed with a tank top and sandals. However, designers are increasingly going in for softer flowing fabrics like silk chiffon and organza for a light, graceful, even ethereal effect.

In hindsight, the long skirt is a perennial style but if you want to tailor it to suit your personality there are several interesting options one can experiment with. Why not go for an animal print of some kind? Snakeskin and leopard are long-time favorites. Or perhaps a deep, fur hemline for a touch of funk. Or a sheer white skirt liberally splashed with crystals … the possibilities are endless.

Leather Skirts

As the weather gets colder, a leather skirt looks fantastic when paired with a sweater and boots. Leather definitely made the strongest statement at most couture showings this year, so if you have to purchase a single wardrobe item to jazz up your winter wardrobe, we would recommend a mid length to long tailored leather skirt.

A staple of the cold season's designerwear, leather skirts can be seen everywhere. Interestingly, it is more about attitude than fabric and is usually worn by women who are comfortable in their skin. There is a certain confidence factor when you put on a leather skirt and a woman wearing one should be willing to be noticed. Why? Leather skirts are sexy. They exhale sensuality. They make you look and feel like a rock star.

Tailored leather skirts aren't just available in classic black, as is the general perception. This season has witnessed a riot of colors including buttery cream, ruby red and even olive green. Although usually worn several inches above the knee, the length does not matter as much as the cut and styling. “The more luxurious it is, the quicker we sell it,” says couturier Balenciaga, whose Fall-Winter YOOX Collection is all about leather.

Leather skirts are increasingly being incorporated into everyday attire. Business casual is de rigueur and a mid-length tailored leather skirt makes a chic professional statement. Fashion experts say while workingwomen are using leather as a casual option, the runways showcase leather as a symbol of glamour. Gianfranco Ferré's collection features a brown crocodile-stamped leather skirt with a deep fur trim at the hem, German couturier Tani Keller's Spring 2006 collection ensconces a ruby red leather cocktail skirt, while Jean Paul Gaultier's belted wrap A-line leather skirt with flap pockets and side slip zipper details is a classic.

Tennis Skirts

If you are not that keen on wearing the ubiquitous mini skirt that is being forecasted as a sure-fire fashion staple for Spring 2006, summon up your inner athlete and go with a short, pleated tennis-inspired skirt made of comfortable, wearable sweatshirt fabric instead. This fashion-forward key constituent of the preppy trend will make you look sporty chic when a casual look is in the cards.

The 'tennis whites' look, however, is passé. The flirty, pleated white skirt may be considered a classic in the strictest tennis circles but you could alternatively add a little punch to your sporty wardrobe by going in for some interesting fashion variations. Tennis skirts are now available in a variety of sporty colors, silhouettes and cuts, and look fabulous in soft and vibrant hues like peach, aqua, olive green and ruby red.

This is a very informal sporty style, so it is best to pair tennis-inspired skirts with preppy items like the classic polo shirt or a tennis tee. Fashion critics advise not to pair it with sneakers off the court. These little skirts look great when worn with strappy wedges, Speedo sandals or even round-toed pumps.

Although fashionistas and others in the know often declare that for pleated and multi-layered skirts, the shorter the better, it is advisable to keep the length at mid-thigh and team tennis skirts with a modest sports t-shirt if you intend to wear it for a serious game of tennis. Indian player Sania Mirza was recently in the eye of a storm due to her midriff-baring tennis attire. India's Sunni Ulema Board, a Muslim organization, issued an edict in October 2005 demanding Sania to cover up during her tennis matches, and described her tennis clothes as "un-Islamic."

One Piece Swimsuits

One-piece, or maillot, swimsuits are not plain or passé. One of the hippest trends last summer was the ‘peek-a-boo’ or cutout maillot, which breaks up the vertical line and accentuates the feminine curves with strategically placed cutouts. The bolder lot, mostly teenagers and girls in their twenties, are going in a string-tie halter suit. This chic tie-side one-piece has a very high leg cut and an adjustable slide string bottom, which gives the bikini effect without the exposure.

Varying asymmetrical slashes in a monochromatic one-piece leaves quite a bit of tanned skin exposed for a sexy, contemporary effect. The extreme examples may leave you as exposed as though you were wearing a teensy bikini, but there are plenty of moderate editions available as well. This flirty style looks good with contrasting vibrant hues like orange and fuchsia, purple and lime green, or blue and canary yellow.

For those who prefer something classy and yet contemporary, the one-piece maillot in an animal print is a classic piece. From tiger, dalmatian and zebra to leopard and snakeskin, these wild prints are all in vogue. Those who prefer subtlety can opt for a suit with ring details on the shoulder straps, bust or sides; they add a snazzy touch to the simplest suit and yet do not go overboard on the ‘bling’ effect.

A low v-neck solid-color halter maillot is a winner; with a plunging back, this one-piece is a powerful force to be reckoned with. However, the solid color must be vibrant. The summer of 2005 witnessed an explosion of bright, solid colors ranging from earthy red to hot pink, stark white, turquoise and rich chocolate.

Bikini Swimsuits

The bikini was invented by Louis Reard and Jacques Heim, in Paris in 1946. However, due to its skimpiness, hardly anyone had the courage to wear a bikini until the late 1950s, when actress Brigitte Bardot created a splash by wearing a bikini in the film, ‘And God Created Woman.’ The bikini revolution subsequently became a rage, and even got its own song: ‘Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.’

Coming back to the present, bikinis have become modest in character. Bikini bottoms are offering more coverage than in the past without giving up on their sex appeal. Last season witnessed straight, top-line bikini bottoms. Surprisingly, there were hardly any deep-V bikini bottoms, thongs or G-strings in sight. With more coverage in style, fashion houses are predicting that the ‘skirtini’ is going to be the next big thing in the swimsuit industry.

Bikinis come in a variety of styles, the most popular being ‘Tankini’ (a longer top that leaves only a small portion of the stomach exposed), ‘Bandini’ (a bikini with a bandeau top), ‘Camikini’ (similar to the tankini except the top looks like a camisole), and ‘Boy Legs’ (the bottom is longer and resembles short shorts). The classic halter-top, however, is still in vogue although the ‘Bandini’ was the hippest bikini style last season, with almost every swimwear label producing its own take on it. For the ties that bind, sashes, rather than spaghetti strings, were in demand.

For those on the heavier side, sarongs continue to be a flattering way to cover up the extra pounds, although board shorts are a sporty alternative.

Skirts

Skirts have become an essential item in almost every lady’s wardrobe. They highlight the soft feminine side of a woman’s personality without underplaying her sex appeal. While it is a popular perception that skirts only suit a slim figure, this couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s just about choosing the silhouette that flatters your body type. While only those with perfectly sculpted bodies should attempt wearing a mini or a pencil skirt, a full skirt is much more forgiving.

The fervour for skirts has been gathering steam for some time now, but fall 2005 effortlessly brought the tale to a dramatic flourish in a melange of bold styles. Fabrics, styles and treatments run the gamut from casual to severely formal, laid-back to luxurious. Although knee-length skirts are being spotted on runways, narrow pencil skirts and risqué minis are equally popular.

The House of Dior recently showcased Tilcara skirts inspired by couturier John Galliano's visits to Argentina and Peru while Chanel has launched circle skirts reminiscent of the fifties era. Christian Lacroix’s runway show had soft, flowy skirts teamed with trenches and Armani's attention to detailing in his ruffled skirts trimmed in satin was visible at the Milan Fashion Week; his 15-cm pleated minis are ideal clubwear.

Stores are housing peasant styles and military influences on a range of fabrics such as corduroy, chiffon, tweeds, wool, leather, and more. Interestingly, all the embellishments previously seen on blouses have made their presence felt in skirts. People want something unique, with a racy edge, which has prompted design houses to take a vintage piece and add a new twist on it. The result: this season, skirts are satiated with sequins, beads, embroideries, lace, leather slashes, and fur trimmings.

The Best Custom Jeans

The staple of everyone's wardrobe. There is a statistic that states that at any given time most people have at least eight pairs of jeans in their closet. Living and working in Los Angeles offers the option of going to work in jeans. I know that I am one of the people listed in that statistic. I have several different brands of jeans but here are the ones that I have found to be most useful. When choosing a pair of jeans you should be able to find a few pairs of everyday jeans that go with pretty much anything and can be used for most occasions. Also you are going to want a few pairs that are slightly more dressy for the nicer occasions and for more upscale bars and clubs.

For your everyday pairs I would recommend Abercrombie & Fitch. They tend to carry stylish jeans and have several choices in cut for your particular build and personal style. They have many different colors and washes in each cut of jean and can generally outfit anyone's taste. Their jeans are reasonably priced and can be matched with most clothes and shoes.

As far as dressy jeans go there are many choices. I am always wary of buying jeans that come from companies who don't specialize in jeans. Some of the choices that I would recommend are Diesel, Seven and Ben Sherman. These jeans tend to be more expensive and will probably run in the neighborhood of $200 a pair. Since these are nicer brands they are worth the money but make sure to try on several different designers before you make you choice. Once you have a pair of jeans that you like make sure that they will work with your wardrobe before buying them. If you are going to spend a lot on one pair of jeans you want to make sure they work with a lot of your wardrobe and will be worn often.

The Best Of Vintage Tee Shirts

Stop buying Abercrombie & Fitch vintage T-shirts. Have you noticed you have on the exact same thing everyone else around you has on. Not to mention that they are overpriced and boring.

Major corporate stores are great for some of the basics like jeans or undershirts, but you t-shirt collection should be something personal and not a function of what goes on sale at the Gap.

The truly great vintage tee comes from finding the one great shirt that you stumble across in your parent's old wardrobe or at a garage sale. There are great finds to be had in every thrift store. You never know what classic shirt has been tossed away by someone with no appreciation for pop culture. Hit up some thrift stores and cruise through the selection. You will see a lot that doesn't work but the one great find will set your wardrobe and sense of style apart from all the rest.

Other goldmines are vintage record stores, and flea markets. You should be looking for something that appeals to you and is a one of a kind. There are plenty of great finds out there just waiting to be discovered, and if they don't work out you are only out $1.50.

Always be on the lookout for classic concert tees. Even if the band sucked at the time it is now vintage and it will make your parents feel old. Also keep an eye out for any company or logo that was popular in its day but has been phased out. Just like classic cars, these will never go out of style.

However you go about finding your wardrobe try to be original and breakaway from anything that everyone has either already found or can buy when it goes on sale. Your clothes say a lot about you so make sure to add your own touches.

The Corset - A Symbol Of Powerful Female Expression

Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce and a score of other celebrities in current pop culture have repeatedly brought the corset "out from under" and into the limelight over the past couple of decades. Whether a leather corset for an erotic spectacle on stage, a beaded one for the Red Carpet or lacy and casual for lunch with friends, the image harkens back, ever so subtly, to one of the first powerful ladies to don a corset, Queen Elizabeth I of England. That's not to imply of course that Queen Elizabeth's corsets were such blatant fashion statements as these women's, but underneath it all, was there more being said than meets the eye? And it may not have been any of these celebrities' intention to associate herself with powerful women of eras past necessarily, but it's not a far stretch to say that this fashion statement speaks volumes and brings with it to its wearers a powerful history of female expression that spans centuries.

For a simple item of clothing, corsets have stirred many opinions as to their function and the role they play in the female wardrobe. In eras past, as a required fashion staple, corsets were sometimes considered to be the epitome of conservative male oppression of women with their restrictive binding. In current times however, fashion designers are less likely to consider corsets as a figment of male domination and instead covet them as a timeless fascination with shaping the female body and today's wearers can surely be considered to be clearly exhibiting the ultimate form of confidence and feminine expression. Still, others who couldn't care less about a corset's cultural implications or their ability to shape a body consider them to be ideal under-garments supporting the back in a comfortable way--a very practical fashion in this sense. Of course, no fashion would be worth its weight without a little controversy and on this point, corsets have delivered.

Corsets basically evolved into the modern bra. But there clearly remains a fashionable allure for the earlier predecessor. Described today as gorgeous, ultra-glamorous, and sexy, corsets are available in a variety of styles and colors, fabricated from all types of materials. They're often boned as were early patterns. But now, three things make modern corsets distinctly different from 16th and 17th century patterns. Today they range in size from small to 3X and above. Corsets are worn as outerwear, with jeans in casual settings and glamorized for evening wear. They are often used as lingerie, and unlike their predecessors, they're designed to be comfortable and easy to get in and out of quickly.

In recent corset news, confirming the fascination with these garments, celebrities have custom designed embellished leather corsets and those made from other unusual and creative materials that have been auctioned for upwards of $1000 and beyond, to benefit charity. Not only are corsets sexy fashion, but they have become a very profitable endeavor!

On the lingerie front, leather corsets or those made from classic lace or racier PVC are popular today and available in a variety of styles and sizes as well. Just like their outerwear counterparts, a myriad of designs are created to accentuate the curves of the female physique and they are consciously designed to flatter the wearer. Many lingerie corsets now have optional G-strings and detachable garters. Other options include front zippers, lace up backs, hook and eye front closure, and adjustable shoulder straps. Sometimes lycra is added for more comfort and many patterns are lined in silk or satin.

It's unlikely that the "powerful women of eras past" would have considered one of these garments as a staple in their wardrobe. But as for the women of today, current day corsets, from the simplest to the most elaborate, are one way of exuding powerful feminine expression on the outside and underneath.

The Bali Bra

The Bali bra line is a collection of high-quality pretty undergarments offering women from all over who come in every shape and size complete support and protection.

A brassiere or bra like the Bali bra is a garment for females to give coverage and support for the women's breasts. A typical bra is made up of straps at both sides of the shoulder, two cups to accommodate the breasts, a center panel, a band to hold the two cups and goes under the breasts, and a hook clasp or a bra fastener to close the brassier. The brassieres are typically made up of materials such as cotton or lace or even spandex, depending on the style and function that the manufacturer intended. The under wires of the bra are added to provide maximum support and to give shape to the bra cups.

The brassieres like the Bali bra line come in different types, depending on the material used, the function intended, and the style. The Bali line comes in different styles - a bra that closes in the front, another that closes in the back, one that has no straps perfect for tube dresses, a convertible line, push-up line for that wonderful added lift and support, sexy demi-cup or half-cup Bali bra for the ultimate tool in seduction, and the full-cup Bali bra for maximum coverage. The Bali bra also comes with three-quarters cup, soft cup, half-cup, shelf-bra, long line, and Bali bra that comes with under wires. For the active, energetic women, a t-shirt Bali bra is available.

The size of Bali bra depends on the size of a woman's breasts. There are different kinds of brassieres for different sizes and shapes of a woman's breasts. The band size is the circumference around the body which does not include the breast. The "cup size" indicates the breast's volume, and it is indicated by letters.

The Bali bra makes sure that a woman's bra fits her right to make sure that the woman gets a flattering shape every time she wears the brassiere all the while giving her maximum support and makes her feel comfortable. Women with big breasts usually experience uncomfortable and annoying back pain because of inadequate support given by the wrong brassiere. In the United Kingdom, surveys show that about 70% of the female population do not wear the right bra and instead strap on ill-fitting, uncomfortable ones. This was probably because of insufficient knowledge regarding bra and correct fitting. There is also the problem of finding larger bras although the manufacturers nowadays have come up with brassieres that are intended for women with larger breasts than the average female.

The Bali bra line offers brassieres of all kinds and sizes. Brassieres come in cup sizes A to DD. Finding the right cup size can be confusing. Brassiere manufacturers in Europe create brassieres that usually come in increasing sizes, like AAA-AA-A-B-C-D-DD-E-F-FF-G-GG-H-J. The only fool-proof and sure way to get the correct bra is by trying the brassiere on. Band size is determined by getting the circumference of the body directly under the breasts. A certain number is added to give allowance because the ribcage is wider at the height where the breasts are. In the US, about 4 to 6 inches is usually added to the measured circumference to arrive at the correct and size. Bra size may also change depending on weight gain and weight loss. The menstrual cycle also causes changes in the bra size of a woman.

According to statistics, the average woman in the US nowadays has at least six bras. Out of the six brassieres, usually one is colored and one is a bra that has no straps. Brassieres are created for different functions, so you can find Bali bra lines that are classified as minimizers, maximizers, or push ups depending on the support the woman needs. There are also bras that show the woman's cleavage in really thin, Lacy material which is a bra that is intended for showing off.

No matter what your size or shape is, there is a Bali bra for you!

Women's Hats

Many women will wear a hat to go along with their outfit. Rather they want to look like a diva or they want to blend in, women will wear several different types of hats that not only look good but are functional too.

In the summer time, woman will wear a hat when working outside in the gardens. A nice straw hat is good for outside. Usually they will have a wide brim so that the entire face is protected from the sun and harmful UV or ultraviolet rays. These types of hats are not fancy but are just for function.

If a woman doesn't wear a straw hat, they will at least wear a baseball cap. It does sound a bit masculine to wear a baseball or truck cap, but it is all about the function of the hat. If it keeps the sun out of a woman's eyes and doesn't allow the sun to scorch her face, no woman ever cares what their hat looks like in the garden. They are only going to get it dirty, so it's not going to fancy, just functional.

Therefore, for special occasions, there are woman out there that still wear hats. Although we are leaving in a time where woman just are interested in hats or bonnets, there are still a lot that is produced every year.

In practically in women's clothing magazine, the have a hat collection. When it comes to dressing up, hats have to be big, bold, and beautiful. They have to give the whole outfit a certain something that will for sure make someone notice them. When it comes to special occasions like a wedding most people will go with a brightly colored outfit like red and match it with a neutral color like white. It's simple and elegant and perfect for the event.

When it comes to the summer, a hat that is appropriate for the weather is needed. If it is a bright sunny day and you are spending it on a boat, a nice big hat is due so that the face can be protected all day long. In addition, many women have begun to take an interest in fishing.

A nice dainty beige hate will do so that it's not in the way of your fishing and it still gives your face some protection from harmful UV rays. Many women will wear a simple canvas hat that matches their outfit in the summer. The purpose of this is to add something to the outfit and yet keep things casual and fun.

For the wintertime, many women refuse to wear a snowcap. Why? Lets face it, it does nothing for the hair! Most women will not wear a snowcap, but will wear a beret or some other type of hat that doesn't put that much pressure on the hair and ruin the hairstyle for the day. Some women will also not wear a hat, but take a scarf and tie it around their head (covering the ears).

THOUGHTS FOR MOTHER'S DAY

Just a poem I wrote a while back, and some thoughts for Mother's Day..

I have been thinking about what a PRIVILEGE it is to be a mother. Sure, there is staying up half the night, taking a carvan of accessories everywhere you go, the costs of feeding, clothing, medical expenses a new baby comes with. They don't come with manuals either. It is a "learn as you go" process. But being a mother also means that it is YOU who gets to see that irresistable smile, YOU who gets to see the delighted look on the face of a little one when experiencing first solid food, (or their look of disgust and confusion). You also get to see them take that first step, and that is the first step in a long line of steps, which leads them on their own walk through life, one away from your comforting arms.

But in the time from infant to infinite possibility of adulthood. You have been the one to place your imprint on their hearts and minds.

Once I was helpless and very small, just like our own children, and only one person in the world was given the task of "me". All my needs, food, clothing, shelter, solace were met by a woman named ... my Mom. Others may have helped to give a bottle, change a diaper, babysit, but there was no one like Mom. No one to this day makes creamed peas and carrots like my mom. No one calls me as often as my mom. I am very thankful for her. I recall her carrying out brightly lit birthday cakes, and making my birthdays royal events (to me anyway). No one taught me manners like she has, or respect, or how to love, go an extra mile for someone, no one but my Mom.

Now she is small and helpless, nearly 79 on dialysis and not doing well at all. Her heart is failing, kidneys failing, but her cornflower blue eyes never fail to light up when I come over. For all these years it has been a privilege to know her, I pray each and every day, Lord, don't take her just yet, for there is no one like my Mom.

PROFESSIONAL MOM

"When you grow up," a friend once asked,

"What do you want to be?"

I thought... a teacher, or a nurse,

Maybe have a family.

Doctor, Lawyer, Indian Chief,

Did you know, dear friend of mine?

I turned out to be all of these,

(and then some) by this time.

I had to teach them baby steps and

How to pray and say please

I had to bandage many cuts

And kiss "owies" on the knees.

And when it came to defending

or prosecuting, my kid or some other,

I never thought the court of law

Would be found in me - a mother!

And yes, I've been an Indian Chief,

And a clown and a Cowboy, too.

I've even been a hairstylist,

And a keeper of the zoo.

I once drew a mustache

On each of us one day.

We went shopping and to the bank

and I forgot I was made up that way!

Am I a career person?

I think that you can see

I have more careers I ever dreamed of

Being a mother of three.

O Lord, I do thank you

For the opportunities You have given to me.

Of all the professions I could have had

You gave the best job to me!

The Louis Vuitton Bag

Louis Vuitton Bag A Louis Vuitton bag is a statement of style, high class and good taste. Louis Vuitton is the world's best known bag manufacturer since the beginning of the 20th century. Wearing a Louis Vuitton bag makes every woman feel more confident.

The choice you make when you purchase a Louis Vuitton bag reflects your personality. A discrete woman will choose a slim and elegant clutch bag (such as the Pouchette Louis Vuitton bag); a sports orientated person would buy a backpack bag (for example a Montsouris backpack from the Louis Vuitton Monogram series) while a practical woman may buy a shoulder Louis Vuitton bag (like the Abbesses Messenger bag). A Louis Vuitton bag is suitable for every occasion, no matter if you are going to a wedding, a social event or if you are just going shopping with your friends.

It has happened to every woman to go shopping and see a Louis Vuitton bag that she immediately has fallen in love with and wished to buy. However, if she is not a rich person she will most probably not afford to buy that beautiful Louis Vuitton bag. In such situations the solution is to find a quality replica designer handbag that looks just like the original at a much lower price. On our site you can find the best replica designer handbags at affordable prices. It is not necessary to spend a small fortune on a Louis Vuitton bag that you will most probably not wear the next season, when you can buy an identical replica designer handbag at less than a quarter of the original price.

Fashionable women know that you can't wear the same Louis Vuitton bag for more than two seasons because you will not be considered trendy. Think about how much money you would have to have to buy a new Louis Vuitton bag every season. Replica designer handbags offer a solution to this problem. Buying replica designer handbags, you can always have the latest creation of Louis Vuitton, Fendi or Hermes without ruining your finances.

When you purchase a Louis Vuitton handbag that is not authentic, you should always check its quality. You should compare the details of your replica designer handbag to the real Louis Vuitton bag. The details of the two should be almost identical, which means that your fake Louis Vuitton bag is a quality product. The risk in buying a low quality replica designer handbag is that your friends might notice that your Louis Vuitton bag is not authentic and this can be very embarrassing. On our site, we offer only very high quality replica designer handbags that are almost identical to authentic ones.

Corset Tops

There is a saying that goes, "If you have it, flaunt it," and what better way to flaunt it than in a sexy corset top with sheer mesh or a lace bustier. You can buy it as a single piece or match it with a skirt. No matter how you wear it, you'll be making a bold fashion statement wherever you go.

Corset top material could be for either lingerie or formal purposes. Both are readily available in all kinds of fabrics like satin, brocade or leather. Leather will certainly help you make a statement at any event or romantic rendezvous. In colder weather, corset tank pullovers are a stunning piece. And furthermore, this classic fashion apparel is not restricted to parties alone. If you wish to look for a corset top that you can wear for an occasion that you would consider not so formal, you will be surprised at the wide range available in fabrics such as cotton and linen. These corsets are not as restrictive as the Victorian or Edwardian corset but still do wonders for your body shape.

Men wear corsets as well. Corsets help to define a man's waistline and help him feel sensual and more comfortable with his body. Fashion designers have seen the trend and are designing more styles for men. Male leather corset tops are popular, as are the satin tapestry tops. One thing is for sure - a man wearing a corset looks well toned and is bound to be a hit with women.

Camouflage Make-up to Hide All Your Skin Imperfections

Cam*ou*flage (kam e-flaj) n. -- Camouflage is defined in the dictionary as a means of disguising things completely, so they appear a natural part of the surroundings. This holds true for the advanced camouflage make-up available today that conceals major to minor skin imperfections, with precision, yet with a perfectly natural look. This new technology, offers the convenience of a cover-up formula that works for both face and body without setting powder.

Application techniques have also become more patient friendly to accommodate the women and men who may not wear ordinary make-up, but need to cover unsightly skin flaws. According to the most recent criteria requested by Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons and other skin care professionals, camouflage cosmetics should have these inherent qualities: * Clinically Tested

* Allergy Tested

* Fragrance Free

* Non-Comedogenic

* Opaque Coverage

* Long Lasting

* Waterproof

* Non-Greasy

* Smudge-Resistant

* Appropriate For All Skin Types

* Natural Shade Selection

* Ease of Application

* Blendability

Serving as an adjunctive service to physician care, Camouflage Therapy helps people help themselves. Skin problems can range from pigmentation disturbances to post operative trauma to diseases of the skin. The camouflage material must be versatile enough to mask most skin imperfections including: Birthmarks, Post Laser Redness, Surgical Discolorations, Chemical Peels, Bruising, Hypo and Hyper Pigmentation, Vitiligo, Rosacea, Lupus, Melasma, Dark Eye Circles, Broken Capillaries, Cleft and Craniofacial Conditions, Acne Blemishes, Psoriasis, Sun Spots, Age Spots, Brown Spots, Varicose Veins and Spider Veins, Surface Scars, Uneven Skin Tone, Fine Lines, Furrows, Freckles, and Tattoos.

Detailed instructions should accompany Corrective Cosmetics so that patients can master the cover-p applications that best suits their needs. They want instructions to be short, simple and easy to follow at home. Support services should ideally be provided at a toll-free number or on a dedicated website.

In today's society, where outward image and appearance are increasingly important, camouflaging is gaining speed s the practical solution. "Cosmetic cover-ups are desirable options for eliminating some of the emotional barriers caused by skin disfigurations, says Steven D. Shapiro, Board Certified Dermatologist, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He commends the fact that the new age concealers have become uncomplicated and satisfy his multigenerational patient base.

With the increased use of camouflaging to hide skin flaws, new application techniques have been developed by Aestheticians and Corrective Make-Up Artists, to provide gratifying results for their clients. Consider these case studies:

* Case #1. Linda K, was born with a large port-wine stain running from her neck down to her shoulder. As a twin, having this noticeable mark was very disturbing during her formative years. Until she discovered a concealer that would really last, she tried to live with it. However, she now applies a one-step formula that goes on creamy and dries to a matte finish and she wore a low cut dress to her daughter's wedding (see photo below)

* Case #2. Angela E, was born with a hemangioma on her face that grew to huge proportions and seriously disfigured her physically and mentally. With the support of her grandmother and caring physicians, she underwent over 30 surgeries and grafts to give her a more normal appearance. Now that she is in her late teens, camouflage make-up has been a welcome solution to some of the scarring and uneven skin-tone that resulted from the reconstructive surgery.

Proven Application Techniques:

According to Christina Smith, Hollywood Make-Up Artist and Academy Award nominee, "I couldn't do my job without Camouflage Cosmetics. Most of the beautiful stars I work with have something to hide and I must give coverage that lasts under studio lights. Very often, I need to mix 2 or more shades to obtain the perfect match for my client's skin tone (there's no retouching in film photography). Although the shade mixing can be done on the hand, I prefer to use a Q-tip and blend the shades on a piece of wax paper... less mess and easier blending.

* Camouflage make-up is very opaque and should be applied gradually until complete coverage is achieved. Allow time for make-up to dry completely.

* Corrective Cosmetics should be formulated to be worn under make-up, over make-up or alone.

* For best results choose a camouflage make-up shade that closely matches your skin tone. Match the area that is being covered since the skin on your hand may be a different shade than your face.

* Use a light, non-greasy primer before applying camouflage products. This primer will help prepare the skin for a smoother application.

* Blending is the KEY to successful camouflaging on large areas. For a nice smooth finish, apply cover material and use a dry, wedge-shaped sponge to evenly blend make-up on face and neck. For targeted areas such as scars and blemishes use fingertips to blend edges.

* Try using camouflage products for contouring: use a slightly darker shade than your natural skin tone to minimize areas. For example, to minimize a broad nose, draw contour line down both sides of the nose and blend with a sponge. Contouring and highlighting can help minimize the look of swelling.

* Camouflage products are much more than ordinary foundations and concealers. They can be used daily as a foundation for uneven skin tones and to soften the redness associated with rosacea.

* For scarred areas use a camouflage crème slightly darker than skin tone since scarred tissue usually has a loss of pigment.

* For post surgery, use a concealing make-up that is creamy in texture so it won't pull on the skin during the application process.

* It is recommended that cosmetic surgery patients purchase their camouflage makeup before surgery in the correct shade since it is difficult to "shop post op."

* After procedures around the eyes, it may be simpler for the patient to use a highly pigmented cover-stick with a creamy consistency to get into corners and avoid tugging on the delicate eye area.

* A word of caution -- all cosmetic cover-ups should never be applied to open skin lesions or raw irritated skin. Seek the advice of a physician if you are in doubt about when it is appropriate to apply a concealer.
