Women have been trying for years to be viewed as equal competition for men, especially in sports. Unfortunately, society fails to measure women’s abilities on the same scale as men’s abilities. Golf is one of few sports that show great potential for women and men to compete on the same level. Recently, there have been many developments in the world of women’s golf.
Women’s golf has been become extremely popular over the past few years and there are currently as many professional women golfers as there are men. Golf equipment companies have also recognized the amount of women interested in the sport and have customized many pieces of golf equipment including golf clubs, drivers and golf bags to be more comfortable for women. It was not until earlier this year, that women’s golf took a leaping step in the right direction when professional golfer and top LPGA player, Annika Sorenstam was told she could play against the men in a PGA tournament. Many people predicted how they thought Sorenstam would do when she teed-off against some of the best male golfers in the world. Some people had positive encouragement to contribute while others were chauvinistic and down-right rude.
Phil Mickelson, 2nd in the overall moneymaking standings last year, had no problem playing against a woman and claimed that he thought Sorenstam would end up 20th overall, when she predicted herself to be 28th. Other golf professionals were not so eager to give Sorenstam the benefit of the doubt. Vijah Singh actually resigned from the tournament because he felt he could not play with a women. He claimed that Sorenstam simply “did not belong” in a men’s tournament.
Nonetheless, having a woman play in the PGA, even for a short while, was a huge accomplishment which could potentially pave the road for future development in women’s golf.

With a lot of effort and time, online dating can work for some men but it is not easy. You will probably have more success with internet dating by viewing it as a supplement to other methods of meeting women, instead of relying on it as your sole method. Also, use one of the larger services like match.com. You will need to use a shotgun approach and will therefore want to make sure you are in as target-rich an environment as possible.
But if you really want to meet and date a lot of women you will probably need to do it the old fashioned way. Approach women in person.

Heart Disease in Women
When it comes to Heart Disease, men usually come off worse than women. It seems that men have a much higher chance of developing the condition than women do though that is not to say that women do not develop the condition. They do, though most women who suffer form the condition are over a certain age.

It is thought that in America there are eight million women living with Heart Disease and of those it is estimated that just over 400,000 women have heart attacks each year. The condition is in fact one of the most deadly and it is one of the biggest killers of women each year.
As mentioned the age of the woman does seem to make a difference. Once a woman has been through the menopause, the chances of her developing Heart Disease rise dramatically. Whilst men do have the highest chance of developing the condition, if they do have Heart Disease and if they suffer a heart attack, the chances of them recovering are a lot better than if a woman suffering from the same condition had a heart attack.
In fact, it seems that Heart Disease in women is actually a lot more fatal than Heart Disease in men. As for how the condition develops, it is slightly different to how it develops within males.
In males the disease tends to develop in the main, larger coronary arteries, but with women it tends to develop in the smaller arteries. This could be the reason why there are more fatalities in women than in men. It seems that a complete lack of understanding does not help many women as they believe it will not affect them and if it does it is not particularly serious. So, just what can be done?
Well firstly women need to start taking care of themselves more. Smoking, eating unhealthily and a lack of exercise will not help so you need to choose a healthier lifestyle. Also, low cholesterol level needs to be kept so ensure that you have regular check ups with the doctor just to be sure!
