Your wedding day is one you won’t forget. Similarly, you want your wedding night to be equally memorable. Wedding lingerie can go a long way toward making both of these things happen. It is just as important to your wedding as your dress, your makeup, or the flowers. Your wedding lingerie marks the beginning of your intimate life with your husband. It is also the foundation for your dress and your overall look.
More now than ever, wedding dresses are designed to be sensual and revealing, albeit in a classy manner that reflects the mood of the day. Wedding lingerie should be selected as a reflection of this look. If your dress fits tight to your body, the proper wedding lingerie can prevent the showing of lines and creases.
A white thong, for instance is an item that is sexy, comfortable, and can hide from your guests so that your dress wears as it was designed. Your bra is another important part of wedding lingerie. You want supportive a supportive bra under your dress, and you don’t want it to show over the top or out the sides of your dress. Strapless bras, again, are a form of wedding lingerie that can be sexy for the night, but reflect your dress in a perfect line during the ceremony and reception. The important thing is balance. Find wedding lingerie that will be functional for the wedding, comfortable for the reception, and still translate into a sexy mood in the honeymoon suite with your new groom. Some brides find that the best wedding lingerie to hit on all three characteristics is the one piece body shaper or corset. It certainly assures no panty lines, is flattering for the torso, comfortable (if fit properly), and most men find them sexy.
In terms of practicality, another very important piece of wedding lingerie is your slip. What style of slip will be needed is dependent on your dress, so obviously you will need to choose that first. When selecting any wedding lingerie be sure to have pictures of your dress with you for reference. For instance, a very full skirt, bouffant style, will need extra lift to keep the weight of the dress form pulling down on the fabrics. In this case, the proper wedding lingerie in terms of the slip is a crinoline slip with many layers. For an A-line type wedding dress, crinoline with only one or two layers is your best bet. No matter what, you need to select your slip based on practicality. This is wedding lingerie that will set the foundation for your wedding dress and your look.
Traditionally, the most important piece of wedding lingerie will be your garter. Since it will be given away, it is the one piece you won’t likely want to spend too much to get. Find a fun novelty store that carries lingerie to get your garter without spending too much on it. Since everyone at the reception will see it, cut loose. That is a time to use your wedding lingerie for fun outside the bedroom. Find a fun color, a silly style, or something to moderately embarrass your groom in front of the family.
Wedding lingerie is as important as a wedding dress. It is the foundation for your dress and will help it look its best. It is also the foundation for your first night as a married woman. Your wedding lingerie should be silent and hidden during the ceremony, but be able to speak loudly to your new groom on you wedding night.

Can Women's Lingerie Be Sexy and Comfortable At The Same Time?
Can women’s lingerie really be sexy and comfortable? If you ask most women, they would probably opt for lingerie that offers some freedom of movement. Now, with the variety of options available, we can have our cake and eat it too, whether you are a size 6 or a size 20.
Lingerie comes from the French word “to lounge” or “laze about”. So, women’s lingerie serves two purposes. The first, is to make the woman look and feel attractive. The second , is to provide a comfortable “lounging” ensemble for the private domain.
If comfort was the only motive for women’s lingerie, then why not just throw on a cotton nightgown and be done with it? In more recent times, women’s lingerie has taken on a more racy connotation than in the past. Historically, it was not meant to be revealing or titillating (with the exception of certain arenas). For example, in Victorian times, women’s lingerie was an important part of the bridal trousseau. The elaborate nature of the bride’s dressing gown and the richness of the fabric was a status of wealth and prosperity. In this context, women’s lingerie was meant to be a celebration of femininity and of the transition from bride to wife.
With the advent of the burlesque tradition (particularly in later years when the art became strongly associated with the strip tease), women’s lingerie moved into the realm of fantasy. In the burlesque performance, women’s lingerie took on a sexual connotation, although this was hinted at and never overtly expressed. By wearing exotic ensembles of lingerie and outrageous costumes, burlesque performers fed into male fantasy and desire.
Today’s women are constantly on the go, so intimate apparel is not just for lounging or the voyeuristic pleasure of the opposite sex. Women’s lingerie provides freedom of movement. Nowadays, lingerie like bras, panties, slips and hosiery can provide breath-ability and wear-ability for women of all shapes and sizes. Even special occasion lingerie emphasizes the comfort factor. Exotic women’s lingerie such as corsets, bustiers and thongs can be found in reasonably comfortable styles. Of course, if you prefer lingerie in more elaborate get-ups, you can easily find what you are looking for either online or in a store.
Designers of women’s lingerie are now recognizing the fact that women do not want to squeeze and rend themselves into impossible shapes. A woman, no matter what her size or shape, can walk into a store and feel confident that she will find intimate apparel to suit her needs and taste. Lingerie is all about choice, as there are now a variety of options to choose from.
It is interesting to note that the variety of plus size women’s lingerie has virtually exploded. Whereas before, it was near impossible to find sexy women’s lingerie for curvier shapes, there are now several retailers who specifically cater to this segment of the population. While the image of the size four model is still the prevailing notion of beauty in the fashion world, curvier figures are also being recognized as attractive. Designers of lingerie are slowly but surely realizing that plus size women are a growing market for intimate apparel and rising to the challenge of accommodating fuller shapes.
Women’s lingerie is also about positive body image, confidence and self esteem. It is perfectly acceptable for a woman to wear lingerie “just because” and for no one else’s pleasure except her own. Lingerie designers are encouraging this confidence by creating real options for real women.

But after every three or four months the majority of us do not have the time or the need to buy new clothes. Then the question comes: What kind of casual dresses or garments will change you according to your range of styles, colors and mood? - Obviously the T-shirts.
T-shirts have always been believed as the mere essentials - those basic requirements that form the base of fashion - the building block of fashion. If you want to know how much fashion trend in T-shirts have changed in the last couple of years, take your measure tape.

Tight trend of the seventies In the 1970s the disco scene was enormous, concert dancing was popular with dance parties and tight pants with T-shirts were a trend. Today, there are many kinds of cotton T-shirts available in market. Open-end cottons give a softer feel for an outstanding price. Ring-spun cotton has an exceedingly soft hand and organic T-shirts to protect from chemicals. Though, more practical, performance-driven fabrics such as dry-fiber are growing in recognition which is awful due to lots of segregation in which a style that the consumer is well-known and at ease with. T-shirts made from a 60/40 cotton/poly blend in unisex sizes XS-4XL, ANSI-certified polyester and non-certified 50/50 are very popular. High-performance polyester micro fibers T-shirts are mostly preferred by working people due to their characteristic of reducing the moisture rapidly from body. On plain fabric putting of lace and crochet are also being used, to create feminine looks. Recently DuPont's Sorona fiber (polymers that lend better stretch, recovery and stain resistance to fabrics) is also used in T-shirt as a material.
The T-shirts are finished with jazzier for party wear with gold in the prints and trimmings are also a strong trend in recent times. To create prints more fascinating, sequins, beads, buttons and embroidery and to craft a sparkle look on the tees cotton laces lose out to metallic laces and glitter, texture weaves along with layered contrasting fabrics of tulle, chiffons, bubble fabrics, crinkle printed semi sheer crepes, are also used. Ethnic, jungle, graphic or graffiti-inspired, prints with bright or muted, multiple colors are extremely used now a days. Styles of tees include rose, forest and blue, layering, retro men, graffiti and graphics, khaki and blues and striped patterns are a strong trend in T-shirts for men.
More and more options are available with much texture choice, such as ribs, hemp, pique, ottoman, etc. and more fits for men, women and junior are available. T-shirts are offered in range from the awfully light of 3.8 ounces to the normal 5.5 ounces and be capable of as high as 7.1 ounces. Heavier weights have the benefit of existence of durability and remaining their outline under frequent wearing and washing. Lighter-weight tees are more relaxed, particularly in warmer climates, and provide a perfect fit. Higher-end T-shirts will provide the additional strength of double-needle stitching and shoulder to shoulder string. In 2004 stretch T-shirts brought high demand in women's jersey products both made of 95 percent combed ring-spun cotton and 5 percent Lycra and heavyweight T-shirts in 50/50 blend, 100 percent cotton, ultra heavyweight in 100 percent cotton and premium ultra heavyweight T-shirt in 100 percent combed ring-spun cotton.
Worldwide fashion designers noted that average consumers were only concerned about jeans and T-shirts in 2004-05 for daytime and still the trend is continuing. Sportswear, sports styling will continue to possess consumers who wish comfort in everyday wear and will continue to demand for ever. In recent times wearing the corporate T-shirts in offices became a trend, and the demand is increasing, even it is more demanding for the purpose of corporate gifting with particular logo or corporate statements.

Women Tee Off!
The common tee (formerly known as t-shirts) has come a long way. The tee were usually made for only men…but now, with technology and broadening of creativity (and minds), more women are seen donning the common tee to special events and even formal functions.
Some women would rather not be seen out in public in a tee, and would only wear their tee at home, but with added finesse, creativity, and uniqueness to the tees that can be found in the market these days, why the hell not? Not only are they comfortable, but you can actually get a fashionable one that suits your style. If you team it up with a fab looking cardigan or a cool skirt, your tee can take you a long, long, LLLOOONNNNGGGGG way!
The demand for fashionable tees has taken the industry to new heights over the last couple of years. Women are not longer required to make a decision between price or quality. Now, tees are widely available all over the place, including online e-commerce stores at low prices and made of high quality fabric. Yes, the cost price of a tee is low and that is why consumers know that they are getting an incredible value for a good tee at a reasonable pricing.
The key to buying a high quality tee is to make sure that the tee is made of innovative and premium fabric. The design (print or sewing) needs to be stylish, personal and unique in every sense of the word. If not, the tee is going to look like something you just dragged out of your husband’s closet! For fashion conscious folks, this is probably not a good idea.
The tee shirt market is more than happy to provide and manufacture more fashion tees for women because it gives them a better range of products to sell. For instance, there’s the low v-neck tee, the body-hugging tee, the baby tee, the raglan tee, the capped sleeves tee, the women’s baseball tee, the common tee….and the number of different tee shirts that the companies can come up with is limitless! Well, limited only by the creativity and minds of the tee designers, of course.
The options of women’s tee does not only come in the form of different designs. In fact, some tee shirt manufacturers are doing cartwheels all around the office block because they can experiment and try out the tee designs with different weight options, colors, texture, ribs, hemp, pique, ottoman….etc to fit the various ages of women. But when it comes to women’s tee, the King of Tee is none other than the famous cotton. It’s comfortable, it’s flexible, it’s affordable and it comes in many different varieties as well. To top it all off the cotton tee is rather tough and can last the wearer a long time. In fact, cotton tees are a favorite among men and babies as well.
The reason why cotton tees are so comfortable is because cotton is extremely light – feathery, almost. It weighs between 3.8 ounces to 5.5 ounces. The heavier the cotton tee, the tougher the tee is. However, for those who live in hotter climate may opt for lighter weight tee because there’s better circulation of air.
Many tee shirt manufacturers now realize that it’s no longer as simple as it used to be. In order to sell tees in the ladies’ market, they need to be innovative and creative. Women need fashion, unlike men. With men, one size fits all, and there’s only one shape and design to contend with. With ladies’ tee, it’s a completely different ball game now.
With the rising popularity of stretchable tees and sport tees, companies are now using modifying their direction and trying to use stretchable tee material to produce their tee shirts especially for the ladies’ market. For stretchability, lycra and spandex is used. On top of the ability to give the wearer a tight-fitting and body-shaping look, it’s stretchable and does not restrict the movement of the wearer.
Ribbing is also often used to provide more options for the ladies’ fashion tee market. When the ribbing technique is used, it looks like it is tight-fitting but it’s actually not. The material becomes heavier but it’s bulkier, providing warmth and comfort to the fashion tee wearer.
With a good eye out for combination, and color (and of course, style) women can literally wear tees anywhere. Tee to the tea party, tee to the office function, tee to the golf course, tee to the office boardroom (hidden under a jacket, perhaps)..anywhere!

Women's Clothing Catalogs
A catalog is an organized, detailed, descriptive list of items, arranged systematically under categories or sub-categories. There are many catalogs that are dedicated to women’s clothing and apparel. While some of them are published by independent magazines, many others are brought out by the mail order companies and fashion houses. Fashion houses usually publish their catalogs on seasonal basis, such as to mark the winter, spring, summer or the fall collections, whereas the publishing frequency of independent magazines may vary from monthly to quarterly.
Women look forward to new catalogs, as they are the best source of information regarding the present and upcoming trends in fashion. These catalogs are used by different people for different purposes. For example, the mail order and retail stores use them to make their regular customers aware of the new range of stock, whereas the designers use them to give ideas to their customers on the basis of what they can design that is more made-to-order.
The best part of catalogs is that one can easily find something that suits them, without getting into the hassle of moving from shop to shop. What this means is that even if you are overweight or short of money, all you need to do is to pick up a catalog and see what will fit your body and budget.
A majority of catalogs work on the formula of attracting women by either showing perfect fittings or curves, or by getting celebrity endorsements. While some of them target the super-rich class of ladies, the others entice common working women by offering a good price for items. Most of the catalogs nowadays have both printed as well as online editions. The online option has made catalog shopping far more affordable and accessible to everyone.
The great thing about a clothing catalog is that the various publications cater to specific categories of customers, whether that is among the richest women in Hollywood, a leading professional in a multinational corporation, an office executive or a homemaker. Every woman is certain to find a clothing catalog that suits her lifestyle preferences.

Women In Texas Eye Extreme Sports As New Option
The world of extreme sports, traditionally a man's world, is slowly opening up to women. In Texas, and the cities of Houston, Dallas and Austin, women are becoming increasingly interested in three of the six X-Game categories: speed climbing, wakeboarding and in-line skating. A group of women was also invited to demonstrate their talent in freestyle motocross and both vertical (or "vert") and street skateboarding. Although the women showed they were capable of creating excitement in the audience with their feats, the money available to female competitors is still an issue in championship events.
At a recent Xbox World Championship of Skateboarding, for example, the top three male street skaters took home a total of $34,000, while the top three females took home $3,600.
While young women have participated in alternative and extreme sports from the very beginning, they have not been given the same recognition as their male colleagues, although many are doing their part to break through.
The category "alternative sports" may have been around for decades but only recently has it been called "extreme." Publicity around the word "extreme" extends into the world of marketing, with the "extreme flavor" of a brand of chips or a drink being given "extreme taste." For the industry, an extreme sport is defined as a "non-traditional sport that focuses on extreme and varying conditions, and challenges both the mental and physical abilities of its participants."
While most extreme athletes average in their early 20s, some involved are much younger, even in their early teens.
It's not necessarily the money that drives young women to compete. Another motivation is to break the stereotypes about men being the only ones out to get a rush of adrenaline. Despite having a love of extreme sports, young women competing in extreme sports seem to have accepted the fact that the money is not (yet) there for them. Sponsors now may pay entry fees, travel expenses and equipment, but the big money is still reserved for male competitors who often get paid by sponsors.
Part of the problem, observers say, is that extreme sports are driven by big business, the point being that if the industry doesn't expect a large enough audience - - consumers ready and willing to buy the products -- they don't think its worth supporting the athletes. Others say the world of extreme sports has its share of sexism, with judging seemingly based on how women look rather than on their athletic ability.
Some women say they feel uncomfortable about the way skate magazines and images on the skate decks portray women. Advertising can also be an issue for some; clothing companies are known to hire models to wear the clothes in ads rather than the female athletes - - something observers say would not occur with men's sporting apparel. That can create a problem when it comes to young girls choosing female athletes as role models: if they pick up a magazine, the only females they see are models skimpily dressed or in fashion photography, not competing.
Other women have taken the initiative, one being the founder of Chickabiddy, a surfing and snowboarding clothing company geared to women. Along with a line of women's clothing, Chickabiddy sells a rash guard, a top worn during surfing to help prevent chaffing, and made especially for women's bodies. Chickabiddy sponsors eight girls in both snowboarding and surfing, and also has a website for the "female action sports enthusiast."
There are other people with the aims of Chickadiddy founders on the web, making the Internet one place where women interested in extreme sports can start changing their world. One place is Mxgirls.com, which focuses on the world of women in motocross, its founder having created the site due to a lack of Internet exposure.
Women are slowly breaking into the world of extreme sports, a world where men have long dominated. The more of an audience they build, the more likely it will be that interest continues to build.
